Battlefield 4 recently entered its beta phase on PC, Xbox, and PS3, and it won’t be long until the game is fully released.
After installing the game, many PC gamers have been surprised to discover just how laggy it is. Even with high-end graphics cards like the GTX 680, gamers have had trouble getting Battlefield 4 to run smoothly at frame rates of over 40fps.
Well, Nvidia graphics card users, I’ve got good news for you: it’s not your computer, it’s your drivers. Nvidia recently released a set of beta drivers designed specifically for Battlefield 4.
This driver – called the Nvidia 331.40 beta driver – significantly increases Battlefield 4 frame rates and also boosts performances in other games. It adds OpenGL 4.4 support and enables SLI profiles for all of the following games:
-Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag
-Batman: Arkham Origins
-Battlefield 3/Battlefield 4
-Splinter Cell: Blacklist
-State of Decay
You’ll also find the usual range of bug fixes. But if you’re an early Battlefield 4 player and an Nvidia user, this latest driver is a must-download. You can get it here.
